LiveLens --- Sponsorship Benefits

Purpose

LiveLens is an independently developed mobile streaming and recording application focused on giving creators more freedom and control over their streaming workflow. It uses an OBS-style, empty-canvas workflow, allowing creators to build their own scenes instead of being restricted to predefined layouts. fileciteturn22file2L199-L207

The sponsorship program is intended to support continued development, real-device testing, compatibility work, and the wider release of LiveLens while providing meaningful visibility to the sponsoring company.

What the Sponsor Receives

1. Splash Screen Visibility

The sponsor can receive dedicated branding visibility on the LiveLens splash/startup screen.

The exact visual treatment can be agreed upon by both parties.

2. Settings Screen Visibility

A dedicated sponsor banner or card can be displayed inside the LiveLens Settings screen.

The sponsor may provide its own approved design, subject to technical and UI requirements.

3. Clickable Sponsor Placement

The Settings-screen sponsor placement can be clickable and can direct users to the sponsor's official website or another mutually agreed official destination.

4. Official Partner Positioning

Depending on the final agreement, the sponsor may be presented as an Official Partner of LiveLens.

The exact wording, branding, and placement will be agreed upon before implementation.

Sponsor Creative Assets

The sponsor may provide:

  • Logo
  • Brand name
  • Banner design
  • Promotional artwork
  • Approved brand messaging
  • Official website URL

LiveLens may make reasonable technical adjustments such as sizing, cropping, spacing, or formatting when required for proper integration.

Exclusivity

Exclusivity is not automatically included.

Non-Exclusive Sponsorship

LiveLens may work with other sponsors at the same time. The sponsor receives the specific visibility and benefits defined in its agreement.

Exclusive Sponsorship

The sponsor may become the exclusive sponsor within an agreed category or scope.

Because exclusivity restricts LiveLens from accepting other sponsorship opportunities, its scope and compensation should be negotiated separately and written clearly in the final agreement.

Sponsorship Duration

The preferred structure is a one-year sponsorship agreement.

If both parties want to continue after the agreed period, a new agreement can be negotiated. Compensation and benefits may be reviewed and renegotiated for each additional year.

A multi-year relationship should therefore not automatically lock both parties into identical terms for every year.

What Sponsorship Does Not Provide

Unless specifically agreed in writing, sponsorship does not provide:

  • Ownership of LiveLens
  • Ownership of Bycon Studio
  • Equity in the project
  • Source-code ownership
  • Intellectual property ownership
  • Control over LiveLens development
  • Control over the product roadmap
  • Automatic exclusivity
  • Permanent sponsorship rights

Sponsorship is a partnership for visibility and project support, not an investment or transfer of ownership.

Product Independence

LiveLens remains independently developed.

The sponsor does not automatically receive control over:

  • Product roadmap
  • Feature decisions
  • Technical architecture
  • Source code
  • Release decisions
  • User data
  • Community management

Any special rights or obligations must be explicitly agreed upon in the final sponsorship agreement.

User Experience

LiveLens is designed around a creator-focused philosophy including no forced account, no advertisements, no watermark, and no subscription requirement for core use. fileciteturn22file0L43-L70

Sponsor visibility is therefore intended to be a clearly defined partnership placement rather than turning the application into an advertising platform.

What Sponsorship Supports

Sponsorship funding can help support areas such as:

  • New development hardware
  • Real-device compatibility testing
  • Graphics and rendering compatibility testing
  • Stability testing
  • Development and infrastructure costs
  • Preparation for wider Android release
  • Future platform development and research

Final Agreement

This document describes the proposed sponsorship structure and benefits. It is not the final sponsorship agreement.

Before a sponsorship begins, both parties should agree on:

  • Sponsorship amount
  • Sponsorship duration
  • Sponsor placement
  • Creative assets
  • Clickable destination
  • Exclusivity or non-exclusivity
  • Renewal terms
  • Any additional promotional obligations
  • Any special rights or restrictions

The final terms should be documented in a mutually agreed sponsorship agreement.

Summary

A LiveLens sponsor can receive:

  • Splash Screen visibility
  • Dedicated Settings Screen visibility
  • Clickable access to the sponsor's official website
  • Ability to provide custom sponsor creative
  • Potential Official Partner positioning
  • Clearly defined sponsorship benefits for the agreed period

In return, sponsorship helps LiveLens continue development, real-device testing, compatibility work, and preparation for wider release.

LiveLens remains independently owned and developed.
