LiveLens operates as a local-first application, meaning we do not store your personal data on any servers.

1. Information Collection and Use

Camera and Microphone

  • Used for capturing video and audio
  • Processed in real-time
  • Never recorded or stored by us

Account Information (Google / YouTube & Twitch)

  • Channel Name
  • Email Address
  • Profile Picture
  • OAuth Access Tokens

This data is retrieved via official APIs (Google / YouTube / Twitch) and is used strictly for:

  • Authenticating your account
  • Enabling live streaming functionality
  • Displaying your account details inside the app

We do NOT:

  • Store this data on our servers
  • Share this data with third parties
  • Use this data for advertising, analytics, or profiling

All data remains stored locally on your device under your control.

2. Legal Basis

  • User consent (login via YouTube/Twitch)
  • Legitimate interest for app functionality

3. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

LiveLens uses YouTube API Services to enable streaming functionality.

We do not share, transfer, or disclose Google user data with any third parties, external servers, or AI models. Data transfer occurs solely between the LiveLens app on your device and Google’s own servers to facilitate account authentication and live broadcasts.

These third-party services have their own privacy policies. We encourage users to review them.

  • Logout removes tokens
  • Uninstall deletes all data

12. Google API Services Disclosure

LiveLens accesses Google user data only to provide user-facing features such as account authentication and live streaming management.

LiveLens’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is never used for:

  • Advertising or marketing purposes
  • Data profiling or selling user information
  • Any purpose unrelated to the app's core streaming functionality
